About the Baumans

We are a husband and wife accounting team based in Rochester Hills, MI. Over the years, we have come to realize that, while we have a passion for accounting, we also have a passion for making an impact on a more personal level. Accounting & bookkeeping for small businesses combines these things. Most small business owners decide to go into business because they have a passion for what they do, not because they love bookkeeping- and we are here to help lighten that burden!

About Trey

Trey Bauman earned his Master's Degree in Accounting from the University of Miami in 2022. Prior to this, he earned Bachelor's Degrees in Finance and Information Systems. from the University of Toledo in 2017. Since then, he has worked in finance/accounting in a variety of capacities, ranging from Internal Audit, to FP&A, to Corporate Accounting.

About Caroline

Caroline (Wallis) Bauman is a CPA licensed in the State of Michigan and has been working in the accounting industry since 2018. She is a proud Golden Grizzly, having graduated from Oakland University with degrees in Accounting and English in 2020. Her professional experience includes big 4 public accounting (assurance), private equity backed companies (internal accounting), and treasurer/bookkeeping work for several not-for-profit organizations.
